What is Jethro Mobile?
Jethro Mobile is a cell phone service provider which runs off of T-Mobile’s networks. All cell phone plans are prepaid with no contracts. Jethro Mobile began after we realized that our Jethro Senior Technology customers wanted a simple service to go with their simple phones.
Jethro Senior Technology started out as a cell phone manufacturer specializing in phones with simple operating systems without all the bells and whistles. The phones are designed with senior needs in mind including big buttons and large screens.
Jethro phones are also perfect for kids since they do not connect to the internet. By creating Jethro Mobile, we were able to better serve our customers and their needs. Learn more by watching this video.

Can I keep my existing phone number and bring / port it to Jethro Mobile?
Of course! We can port your number to our Jethro Mobile Network with any unlocked GSM-T phone*. Just make sure your phone is compatible with our frequencies.
*GSM-T: T-Mobile or AT&T unlocked or unlocked GSM device.

We will ask you for your account # and password from your current carrier. You can find the required porting information for the majority of US carriers here. The phone number must be active with the current carrier to ensure the transfer to the Jethro Mobile network.
How long does it take to port my number to Jethro Mobile?
That depends on how quickly the other carrier releases your number. Most port requests from other wireless carriers are completed within 2 to 72 hours. However, port requests from a landline provider may take up to 7 business days.
Reasons why a number port maybe delayed?
In most cases, port-in requests are delayed due to missing customer information or the account information not matching the old service provider’s records.
How do I check my remaining usage on my mobile cell device?
You can simply dial 611 to speak with our customer service team during office hours or simply check the usage in your portal by going to jethromobile.com, click my account tab.
What if I travel outside my area code?
You may continue to use Jethro mobile service while travel within the United States, includes Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Island, except for Alaska.
How long does it take for my phone to be delivered in the mail?
Mobile phones for sale orders placed online are shipped and may take 3-5 days based on the selected delivery time frame.
Can I keep my current number when I sign up for Jethro Mobile?

How long will Jethro Mobile keep my number if I stop making payments?
We understand that our customers may not need cell phone service every month, and we will try our very best to help you keep your phone number as long as possible. Unlike most of the pre-paid carriers only keep your phone number for 30 days after the payment stops, we will hold your phone number for 88 days from the last day of your service stopped*.
*You can also top up $5 Basic plan every 88 days if you would like to keep your number but don’t need the service every month.
Do I need to sign a contract with Jethro Mobile to use the service?
No. Jethro Mobile plans are pre-paid only. No contract or commitment is needed.
How do I cancel my Jethro Mobile service?
You can cancel at any time by contacting our customer service 1-877-5-JETHRO (553-8476) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your information.
Where do I buy a SIM Card?
We offer the Jethro Mobile Sim Card on both of our Jethroshop.com and jethromobile.com. You can also call us at 1-877-553-8476 to place the order.
I lost my SIM Card. How do I replace it?
We will send you a new/replacement SIM card free of charge, you will only have to pay for shipping.
How do I dial an international number?
To call Canada: simply dial 1+ area code + phone number. To other international destinations: dial 011 + country code* + phone number

What if I run out of airtime?
You might not be able to make or receive calls and text if you run out of airtime. But no worries, you can also purchase more airtime by log in your account to add more airtime or simply call our customer support.
I am using an unlocked international GSM phone with Jethro Mobile, why I can't send MMS or use data in 4G speed? What are Jethro Mobile's APN settings?
You might need to set up compatible Jethro Mobile APN to enjoy the 4G data, and not all international devices set the APN automatically. Below is how to set up APN for Jethro Mobile.

Is my Jethro Mobile phone covered under any warranty?
Jethro stands behind our products sold. We offer a one-year warranty on any brand new device sold on our website. *Refurbished product’s warranty period may vary. Please see the product description for details.
How do I find my phone ID (IMEI)?
If you are on a Jethro device there are multiple ways to find the IMEI number:
If you are on an Apple device:
1. Go to Settings > About Phone. Your phone ID (IMEI) should be one of the first things you see.
What does it mean for a phone to be unlocked? Why do I have to unlock my iPhone to switch to Jethro Mobile?
When you have an unlocked phone, this means that the phone is completely paid off. The unlocked phone is not tied to any phone carrier and you can choose any service for the device.
If you were making payments on a phone with a different carrier, once the phone is paid off, you own it and it then an unlocked phone!
If you have a phone that is locked, your current carrier will be able to unlock it for you.

Yes, you can do that to avoid service interruption, we strongly encourage you to turn on the auto-charge in your account.
What type of credit card does Jethro Mobile accept?

What is the refund policy on Jethro Mobile plans?
We are hoping all customers enjoy Jethro Mobile service. That is why we offer 14 days refund policy for the plan within limited usage*. If consumed more than the amount, the purchase will be considered the buyer’s remorse and no longer qualify for a refund.
*Limited usage amount: 30 minutes talk, 30 text messages, and 30 MB data within 14 days of plan cycle.
